Abstract

Every deed that is made by notary should be stored in the notary protocol. Notary Protocol is an archive and state documents that should be stored and managed by notary in accordance with the Act of Notary Public Article 1 Paragraph (13) and those protocol must be transferred in terms of the notary passed away. This research aims to designing a database system of notary that is ready to receive a Protocol from passed away notary and also finding a digital method to storing a notary protocol. This research used normative research with Library Research and Field Research approach. The problem was founded is, when a person is passed away, there is no notary that ready to receive the protocol especially if its related with regard to the readiness of a proper notary protocol storage facility, especially regarding the security of its storage. In terms of the required role of Regional Supervisory Council and Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia and also Indonesia Notary Association in assessing and made a notary database of notary who are mentally ready and have facility to receive notary protocol if needed anytime, and strive to carryout  digital storage of notary protocol (protocol digitalization) which of course must pay attention to security guaranteed, confidentiality, and of course the legal protection of its implementation so that the interest of the parties in need can be protected.
