Abstract

The world is becoming competitive with every passing day and the quality of performance has emerged as the key to success. Excellence particularly in Academic is seen as an important pillar to the overall success of child and the community at large. This research has been carried out to explore the extent of parental involvement in the academic activities of the students. A quantitative study using a cross sectional survey design was employed to explore the extent of parents’ involvement in the academics. The study found out that the parents active involvement boosts and motivates the students and make the learning process more interactive and healthier for a child. The study recommends community engagement programs at school level to engage parents for the larger good.
