Creating The Dashboard For Students Counselling Using Ms-Excel At Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot

Abstract

Dashboard is an advanced analytical tool that helps to displays important metrics using the interactive data visualizations which helps to collect the individual data in a systematic order. The Student counselling involves many activities to manage the student’s information such as internal examination marks, attendance, grades, credits, registered subjects and result of each semester of individual student. It is always tedious job to manage details of the students manually by the faculty counsellor. This situation has been considered as on opportunity to design the dashboard for student counselling MBA batch 2019-20 using MS Excel. The questionnaire is designed to understand the requirements of the faculty and based on their needs the dashboard is designed using MS Excel which includes many different types of parameters to help to analyze the faculty counsellor to manage the things in a smooth conduction way. This designed dashboard facilitates to keep record of every student regarding his/her academic and personal information which helps in reducing the man power. The System allots particular number of students to a faculty in order counsel the students; the faculty should store the information in the dashboard.
