Abstract

At present we are living in the age of Globalization where the Society in every aspect changed in many ways due to the advancement of science and technology. For the survival in this world individual face the adjustment problems for every steps of their life. Changing society with different aspects create many opportunities as well as stresses on the individual. The aim of education is to develop all round aspects of the individual including cognitive, affective and psychomotor domain. To build a creative and productive citizen education helps to acquire the skills and knowledge for the all round development. After completed the secondary level education most of the students preparing to engage occupations or vocation. Due to the multiple growths in vocational field the work has more comprehensive and extended. Students are struggling to choose right types occupation or vocation according to their abilities or potentialities. To fulfill the requirement of the students there is needed of vocational education and vocational guidance at secondary level students. The objectives are to study the attitude of secondary level students towards vocational education with reference to gender and also to study the significance of vocational guidance at secondary level students
