Abstract
The study aimed to shed light on the challenges of the distance education experience during and after the Corona pandemic from the point of view of the heads of Constantine 02 departments. “An attempt to reveal the reality of implementation and the extent of the university’s readiness to adopt this model, while reviewing the most important difficulties and highlighting the challenges and difficulties facing the sample members.” To achieve the objectives of the study, we applied a comprehensive survey with a purposive sample consisting of (16) respondents from all heads of departments at the University of Constantine 2 for the academic season 2022-2023 AD. We adopted the descriptive approach with the application of the questionnaire tool, and the study reached several results, the most important of which are: There are a set of challenges facing the study sample through psychometric characteristics in adopting this style of education, in addition to the lack of readiness of all colleges and departments, down to the specializations, to adopt this method, and the lack of control over technology. The failure to provide the material and human requirements to use the dimensions of this style at the university had a negative impact on the outcomes of higher education. The sample members faced several challenges during and after the Corona pandemic, represented by the university’s lack of readiness for this style of education. A set of solutions were proposed to implement distance education at the University of Constantine 2 during and after. Corona pandemic by the sample respondents.
