Satisfaction of Beneficiaries of E-Governance through Akshaya Centers in Kerala

Abstract
Akshaya, the flagship ICT project of Government of Kerala and a social entrepreneurship PPP business model, has transformed all the way from a mere e – literacy imparting centre to a one- stop- shop citizen centric centre for the public, with its wide network of centres spread across the length and breadth of Kerala. It has significant role in providing e-governance services to the general public in the State. The performance of e-governance primarily depends on the satisfaction level of beneficiaries. Therefore, analysis of the beneficiary level satisfaction is a significant aspect in the study of e-governance. This article makes an attempt to analyse the extend of satisfaction of beneficiaries with respect to the timeliness, ease of use, corporation, transparency, promptness, privacy, accuracy and service cost of Akshaya centres
