The study aims to achieve the relationship between interpersonal trust and social adjustment among
teenagers who have separated parents. There is a suggestion that the increasing number of divorced parents
hinders the development of trust in teenagers. The purpose of the study is to comprehend the life of such
teenagers and create methods for them to adjust and develop healthy trust. Teenagers with married parents
seem to have a higher level of trust than those of separated parents. The sample included 120 research
participants, which were selected from different schools of twin cities in which 60 from private schools and
60 from government schools. Research has shown that children from separated families suffer from
internalizing problems, external behavioral issues, low academic success and complications in other social
