Abstract

The aim of this study determinant and exploring the factors that effect on students’ academic performance in Sohar University
(SU), Oman and can be used as a mode for all the higher educational institutions globally to improving the inputs of all
stakeholders; students, teachers, and parents. The survey was conducted among the various faculties of (SU) through
questionnaire, the primary data were collected from 562 and critical analysis was carried out using regression analyzed. The study
finding the environment factors significantly affected on students’ performance because they preferred appropriate and quiet
university environment than otherwise. Also, the students perceived that teachers who have teaching skills and using a variety of
teaching techniques can have a more positive effect on their performance
