Abstract

Community libraries play a vital role in driving social change by providing access to information, fostering literacy and education, promoting cultural exchange, and supporting community development. Despite facing challenges such as funding constraints and limited access to resources, community libraries continue to make a significant impact on their communities. This paper explores the evolution of community libraries, their importance in social change, challenges they face, and strategies for enhancing their impact. Through collaborations with educational institutions and NGOs, digitalization of resources, and outreach programs, community libraries can expand their reach and improve their services. By addressing these challenges and implementing effective strategies, community libraries can continue to serve as catalysts for social change and empower individuals and communities to thrive.
