The New Gender Roles, Social and Family Implications
Main Article Content
Abstract
Gender roles within the family and workplace are in a state of continuous change. The traditional role of the man as the family provider and the woman as a homemaker has shifted. Changes in social norms have led both spouses to place high value on work and family roles, challenging the traditional family structure in terms of roles and composition, with far-reaching implications for society. This research paper will address the main aspects of these changes in the social roles of men and women within the family and their impact on society, particularly concerning marriage, fertility, and the relationship with women's employment and the rising number of highly educated women.
