An interpretive approach to the dynamics of socialization
Main Article Content
Abstract
Societies seek first to achieve two integrated goals: maintaining survival and continuity, and second, cohesion and balance. It is known that survival and continuity are not achieved in society except by preserving customs and beliefs and transmitting them to emerging members. From here, we see the role of society in shaping the trends of this last group, as it imprints in them what it deems appropriate for its continued existence, and this mechanism is called socialization.
