Primary professors' assessment of the impact of augmented reality on students' educational achievement and motivation in scientific and technological education

Abstract

This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the impact of augmented reality on academic achievement and learning motivation among elementary school students in science and technology education. To achieve the study's objective, a descriptive methodology was employed, and a questionnaire
consisting of two dimensions was administered. The first dimension, comprising 23 items, measured academic achievement, while the second dimension, also
with 23 items, assessed motivation. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 136 elementary school teachers in Saida province during the third
semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The study's results revealed that teachers highly valued the impact of augmented reality on both academic
achievement and learning motivation among elementary students in science and technology education. Moreover, no statistically significant differences were
found in teachers' perceptions regarding the impact of augmented reality on academic.
