Exploring the Mediating Role of Organizational Culture in the Relationship Between Ethical Leadership and Organizational Commitment
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study explored the impact of ethical leadership, along with its key dimensions—ethical behavior, ethical practices, and the promotion of ethical conduct—on organizational commitment, with organizational culture acting as a mediating factor. A descriptive approach was adopted to address the research
problem, presenting a theoretical framework for the study variables. In the field study, a questionnaire was administered to a sample of 112 employees from
economic institutions in Algeria. Using the partial least squares (PLS) method for modeling relationships among the variables, SmartPls 4 software was
employed. The results revealed a statistically significant mediating role of organizational culture between ethical leadership and organizational commitment.
