The Duality of family ties and surroundings is a very important topic in sociological and organisational
research and studies. It has been addressed from several angles, such as the role of family stability in the job
performance of a worker or employee, and the impact of the work environment on family stability. Through
this descriptive study, we deal with the impact of family ties on the job organization and its role in guiding
the stability and job performance. The study included a sample of 23 employees and workers in the
municipality of Bouhnefieh from the city of Mascara(Algeria), 13 of whom have family ties in their
professional environment, and 10 are not related to each other. This selection of the sample was done
intentionally to compare information and ensure validity from both perspectives. The study found that the
presence of relatives within the same professional environment contributes to the formation of informal
divisions in the organisation. in addition to the misunderstanding of professional roles by meeting the
requirements of relatives at the expense of job duties and requirements. An important finding is the transfer
of family tensions shared by some employees to the work environment.
